Our trip to Naples . Tara, Tyler, Sherri, Don this past January, went exploring Naples and we met Tylers grandparents . . Our primary goal was to find a suitable reception hall for Tara & Tylers (T&T) wedding . We decided on the Naples Hilton . They will have their wedding ceremony at the beach. The wedding is planned for Oct .13, 2011.

Gum Pole

You are looking at the "not so famous" gum pole monument created by the GREAT ONE ... "CLINTON MACAULEY ". This monument of ~~greatness~~ gum represents countless walks to the site with his side kick Tammy. It took years to create and it withstood the test of time ... over 10 years of Florida weather and it still looks great. As I was recently inspecting this great 'monument'..... Mom (Anne Macauley) had observed and then noticed the multi-colors and flavors that went into this monument , as if to say how well thought out !! Not to mention the fingerprints and dna left behind . Its almost like a time capsule if you will. It is a tribute to all the dog walkers and gum chewers of the world . Also it represents a man who truly left his mark on the world for future generations to appreciate !!!

Please be careful ..I would also like to bring to your attention that through this great nation of ours there are numerous wanna-be's and copy cats that are being created . These are cheap knock-offs, don't be fooled !!! . Visit the original in Kissimmee Florida and pay tribute.

Daufuskie Island , South Carolina

Daufuskie Island visit last Dec.2011. Ashley, Shannon and Don .... this place is like heaven on earth !!. We stayed at Frankie boy and Grams Ellens house in Hilton Head island. We went to Savannah Ga. the night before and checked out the christmas lights . Was a great trip with the girls.
